Muddu pats Naidu on new capital place selection

Appreciating the decision of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for developing new capital, TDP leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu today said the place selected for the new capital “ Amaravati” is acceptable all.

Speaking to mediapersons NTR trust bhavan here on Tuesday, Gali said: “It was the wish of the chief minister that the new capital should have equal distance to all regions in the State and selection of Tullur for Amaravati is a best choice”.

The people of the State are happy with the design submitted by Singapore experts, he said and alleged that YSRCP and Congress leaders have been levelling baseless allegations for their political existence only. The new capital city would be a top city in the world, he said, adding that the Chief Minister was making all out efforts to develop the new capital as best city.

Referring to “bharosa yatra” of YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Muddukrishnama Naidu said it was a meaningless yatra. Stating that 14,000 farmers have committed suicide during YSR regime, why Rahul Gandhi and Jagan have not taken yatra at that time, he questioned. He also appreciated the Chief Minister for making arrangements for Godavari pushkaralu. (NSS)
