Telangana Rashtra Munnurukapu Mahasabha executive committee, at an emergency meeting on Friday, chalked out an action plan to support the community candidates seeking election to GHMC regardless of political parties they belong.
The meeting was chaired by Kasetty Anand Kumar. Four teams headed by a senior member will tour different parts of the twin cities and Ranga Reddy district and vigorously campaign for the community candidates in consultation with local community groups no matter which party they belong. Speakers asked the community brethren to work hard in the next ten days and ensure entry of more Munnurukapu faces in the new GHMC elected body. In case two candidates from the community seeking election from the same ward, the community should assess and analyze the situation and vote for the winning candidate. The community leaders appealed to local MK sanghams and candidates to contact the Mahasabha for any assistance. (NSS)
