Musharraf close to acquittal in Bhutto murder case, says lawyer

Karachi: Former Pakistani president General Pervez Musharraf’s lawyer has said he thinks that the former is close to his acquittal in the Benazir Bhutto murder case as the prosecution struggles to bring forth the last witness against him.

According to the Dawn, the prosecution has dropped one of the four witnesses, Ejaz Shah, the former chief of the Intelligence Bureau.

Musharraf was charged in the Bhutto murder case in 2010.

The prosecution’s case against him was based on the statements of the four witnesses. (ANI)
