Muslim Advocates face injustice in Judiciary

Hyderabad: A meeting of Telangana Muslim Advocates’ Forum was held at Hotel Hill Palace, Nampally. Mr. Waheed Ahmed Advocate, President of the Forum presided over the meeting. Mr. G. Mohan Rao, President of High Court Bar Association was the Chief Guest. Mr. Rajender Reddy, Convener, Telangana Advocates’ JAC, T. Ranga Rao, Joint Convener of Telangana Advocates’ JAC, Mr. Najeeb Ahmed Khan, Govt. Pleader High Court, Mr. Z.H. Javeed, Member of Bar Council and Mr. Muzaffarullah Khan, Advocate attended the meeting.

 

Mr. Waheed Ahmed in his presidential address told that the representation of Muslim advocates in Telangana is negligible. There is not a single Public Prosecutor either in High Court or in any other court of Hyderabad. In order to raise the voice, Telangana Advocates’ JAC decided to participate in “Chalo High Court” program. Mr. Rajinder Reddy, Convener of Telangana Advocates’ JAC told that it is essential for us to raise our voice against the injustices. Mr. Mohan Rao, President of High Court Advocates’ Association applauded the agitation program, Mr. Ranga Rao, Joint Convener gave the details of injustice done to Advocates in Telangana. Mr. Najeeb Ahmed Khan told that there are only few employees in Judiciary. Mr. Zakir Husain Javeed, member of Bar Council told that all the advocates should get united to make “Chalo High Court” program a success. Mr. Muzaffarullah Khan Advocate also addressed the gathering. He told that if the struggle continues, the Telangana Advocates would get separate High Court. Mr. Mohammed Nizamuddin, Advocate proposed vote of thanks.
