Muslim sportsman went in coma after road accident – Harish Rao bears complete treatment expenses

Hyderabad: Irrigation Minister of Telangana, Mr. T. Harish Rao exhibited marvellous example of human sympathy and friendship to Muslims by declaring to bear the entire treatment expenses of the injured of Muslim sportsman.

Mr. Harish Rao was busy inaugurating developmental programmes at Zaheerabad. Meanwhile, a group of 300 to 400 Muslim youths met him and sought his help for the treatment of a Muslim sportsman who is undergoing treatment at hospital in Hyderabad.

Mr. Harish Rao immediately donated Re. 1 lakh to sportsman Saddam’s father. He also spoke to the doctors and instructed hospital management to take special care of Saddam. He further announced that he will bear all the expenses till he is fully recovered.

Mr. Harish Rao also applauded the efforts of the Muslim youths who came to the help of the injured cricket player. Mr. Mohammed Fareeduddin, TRS MLC played a key role in arranging the meeting with Mr. Harish Rao.

The Muslim youths who met Mr. Harish Rao recollected an incident when in a road accident the youths of Sadhashivpet were killed. At that time, Mr. Harish Rao had extended his financial help. The youths told that they met Mr. Harish Rao seeing his humanitarian and Muslim friendly attitude.

According to the details, Mohammed Saddam was proceeding to Zaheerabad from Anjol where he met with an accident on the road. He is in the state of coma now and undergoing treatment in a hospital in Hyderabad. He is married and has a daughter. His father is a labourer in Agriculture market of Zaheerabad. Saddam is famous for his talents in the field of cricket. His friends collected Rs. 50 and Rs. 100 per head for meeting his treatment expenses. When Mr. Fareeduddin apprised Mr. Harish Rao about the efforts of Saddam’s friends for collecting donation, Mr. Rao applauded their efforts and assured them that he would bear the entire expenses of Saddam’s treatment.
