Muslims exhorted to read, understand Quran and put it into practice

Hyderabad: Siasat Daily in collaboration with NRIs residing in Riyadh Saudi Arabia had announced Deeni Inami contest based on Ayahs of Holy Quran during the month of Ramadan. Hundreds of Muslims took part in the contest and proved enthusiasm of their religious knowledge. The drawing of lots was held on Thursday at Mahboob Husain Jigar Hall, Siasat Abids in the presence of hundreds of people.

The draw was picked up by Maulana Syed Zubair Hashmi Naeb Mufti Jamia Nizamia and compiler Islamic edition. General Manager Siasat Mr. Mir Shujat Ali, Dr. Hafez Saber Pasha Quadri, Habeeb Mohammed Rafi Computer Operator Siasat other religious scholars and a large number of participants were present on the occasion. Maulana Syed Zubair Hashmi urged Muslims to read and understand Quran and put it into practice.

The Deeni Inami Contest has been conducted every year in the month of Ramadan for several years by Siasat Daily in collaboration with NRIs residing in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Mr. Mir Shujat Ali Manager Siasat told that prizes of Rs. 1 lakh are distributed among the winners.

Rs. 10,000, Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2000 were given as first, second, third and fourth prize respectively. Draw for 80 more prizes of Rs. 1,000 each was also held on this occasion.
