Feeling of disappointment prevails in minority institutions due to sudden transfer of Director Jalaluddin Akber of Minority Welfare Department. Officials and workers of minority institutions are surprised over the sudden decision taken by the government. They believe that implementation of minority schemes will slow down after the transfer of Jalaluddin Akber.
The news of transfer of Jalaluddin Akber came as a shock for Non Government Organisations who were playing an important role in successful implementation of government welfare scheme. Due to the efforts of Jalaluddin Akber several NGO’s associated themselves with Minority Welfare Department. Many people belonging to minority community also expressed anger over the decision taken by the government. They felt that Jalaluddin Akber’s transfer was part of a planned conspiracy so that the personality which was a barrier to the irregularities and corruption is transferred from the department so that corrupt persons can hold sway over the department.
