My name is Mohammad Kaif and I’m Not a Sharpshooter’, clarifies former cricketer

New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif misunderstood with a wanted criminal (of the same name) in Bihar.

It all started after former RJD MP Shahabuddin’s appearance with sharpshooter Mohammad Kaif went viral on social media.

People confused shooter Mohammad Kaif with the former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif and expressed disappointment and disbelief with Kaif – the cricketer – becoming a sharpshooter.

One of the protestor with a picture showed a banner “cricketer mo. kaif ko insaaf do (give justice to Mohammad Kaif).”

Twitter users was quick to blame former UP captain. “Never expected this from @MohammadKaif ….. May Bihar Lallo had not done Chara ghotala & used money to educate,” a frustrated tweeple posted.

The cricketer took to twitter handle to clarify the misunderstanding saying,

“I am not the shooter u r referring to. I m training fr the Cricket season ahead wid #Chattisgarh. Verify to karlo yaar,” along with the original tweet.
