Naidu, Centre conniving to Stall T growth: Kavitha

Launching a broadside at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for hatching conspiracy to stall Telangana development, TRS MP K Kavitha today lashed out at the former for trying to do injustice to the state.

Talking to press persons at New Delhi on Sunday, she stated that they have complained to the Centre on Naidu’s conspiracies against Telangana projects such as Palamur Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation, Dindi and others.

The Centre is also acting against the federal spirit of the Constitution and showing partisan attitude towards Telangana, she charged. Demanding a special financial package for Telangana State, she appealed to the youth to abstain from extreme steps, and instead fight for special status.

“I do not think that the AP Government will get any benefit by trying to stall Telangana projects” , she said and suggested  to Naidu for an open debate on the projects for an amicable solution. She accused Chandrababu of indulging in creating hurdles to Telangana State. “We have no problem if the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister gets any projects, funds and institutions from the Centre”.

Kavitha recalled that Naidu’s government shot about 12 missives against Telangana projects to the Centre. Chandrababu is noted for obstructing development of others and causing hurdles, Kavitha alleged. ‘We are ready for transparent talks on the combined issues’ she suggested. ‘Though these projects are old and got their DPRs, Chandrababu’s dispensation is often proving itself to create hurdles to our projects’ she bemoaned.(NSS)
