Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu handed over a cheque of Rs. 6 lakh to the kin of couple who died in crane collapse incident in Makkah recently. It must be recalled that Abdul Quader and his wife who went for Holy pilgrimage through Hajj Committee were killed in Haram Shareef tragedy. Both were buried in Makkah Mukarrama.
Government of Andhra Pradesh had announced compensation of Rs. 3 lakh per head through Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Chief minister Mr. Naidu met the young children of the deceased couple and consoled them. He appealed the family to spend the amount on education and good care of the children.
Present on the occasion were Minority Welfare Minister Dr. P Raghunath Reddy and others.
