The felicitation programme of Chairman Andhra Pradesh Hajj Committee Momin Ahmed Husain and Hajj Committee members was held on Wednesday at Hajj House Nampally. Public representatives, officers and a large umber of people from minority community from districts of Andhra Pradesh attended the programme.
Andhra Pradesh government formed Hajj Committee and recently appointed Momin Ahmed Husain as its Chairman. MLC Chakrapani Reddy, MLA Chand Pasha, ex-MLA M A Ghani, Director Minority Welfare Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal, Special Officer Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor and Hajj Committee members were also present on the occasion.
Addressing on the occasion Mr. Momin Ahmed Husain thanked Chandrababu Naidu for giving him opportunity to serve pilgrims by appointing him Chairman. He further revealed that Chandrababu Naidu is sincere for Minority Welfare. Director Minority Welfare Shaikh Mohammed Iqbal said that there is plan to construct new Hajj house buildings in Kadapa and Vijayawada.
