Naidu turns down Pawan’s remarks

Finally Jana Sena chief and Actor Pawan Kalyan’s special status comments made in Tirupathi and pulling up the TD and BJP Governments attitude resulted in mixed reactions. The Telugu Desam and BJP the allies at NDA Government at national level reacted sharply on the issue. While TD’s national president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu turned down the actor’s comments that he is afraid of coming out of the NDA Government and not mounting pressure on the Centre. We will fight for the cause and not against to press the Centre for the special tag, Naidu maintained at a program in Ananthapuram.

Somu Veera Raju, a BJP MLC has welcomed the actor’s comments on the special status. The BJP will make arrangements for the actor for a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the special status issue, he said. The Centre will extend all help to develop the AP state he said.

TD chief opposed Pawan remarks that he is unable to mount the pressure on the Centre. Pawan should not talk that way as the TD Government is fighting for the special tag as well as to implement the promises made in AP Reorganisation Act, Naidu maintained. He said that he is not worried about cases and 25 cases filed previously were not proved.

AP Minister Ganta Srinivas Rao also welcomed Pawan Kalyan’s comments reflecting peoples’ aspirations. Pawan reflected the zeal of Chandrababu for the special status he added. TD’s MP JC Diwakar Reddy flayed Pawan’s comments and said he is not aware of politics and parliamentary system.(NSS)
