NALSAR, University of Law won the Hyderabad qualifying round of The Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2016 held at the Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, today. The team of three comprising K V S Lokesh, Vishnu Sumanth and Aakash Puttige did their university proud by winning the Hyderabad finals where 38 teams had participated. Josa Karre from Embassy of Sweden handed out the prizes at the Inter-Collegiate quiz competition which saw avid quizzers from across reputed colleges and technical institutes of the city.
Quiz Master Kunal Savarkar hosted the regional round where the participation was open to all college teams. Winners of the Hyderabad round will represent the city at the National Finals which will be held at New Delhi on October 7, 2016. Apart from Hyderabad, the Quiz will also be held in Pune, Indore, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Guwahati and New Delhi.
The National Champions will win an all-expense paid trip to Sweden where they will visit headquarters of global Swedish companies, Swedish Universities and the Nobel Museum among other things. Partnering companies for the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week 2016 are: ABB, Air France / KLM, Altas Copco, Ericsson, IKEA, SAAB, Scania, SEB, Tetrapack, Volvo Cars and Volvo Group and the SME partners are: Blueair, Camfil and Clean Motion.
