Nampally Court orders Mahesh Babu to appear personally

The Nampally Court has made it clear to cine actor Mahesh Babu’s counsel that the actor should attend the Court personally in connection with Srimanthudu cinema story case.

Writer Sharath Chandra lodged a private complaint with the Court against Mahesh Babu alleging that Mahesh Babu has filmed his ‘Chachentha Prema’ novel as Srimanthudu cinema. Admitting his complaint, the Nampally Court issued summons to Srimanthudu film hero Mahesh Babu, director Koratala Shiva and producer Erneni Shiva to attend the Court proceedings.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu Counsel pleaded before the court to give exemption to Mahesh Babu from attending the court personally. The Court rejected the plea of Mahesh Babu and ordered that the actor has to attend the Court personally. The Court once again issued summons to producer Erneni Shiva in this case. (NSS)
