Hyderabad: Nanded Gurdwara Board president and BJP MLA in Maharashtra Sardar Tara Singh today met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and invited him to a religious event here on October 31.
The event is in connection with the `Jagruti Yatra’ being organised across the country on the occasion of 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh, a release from the Chief Minister’s office said.
Rao responded positively to the request, it said.
Tara Singh lauded communal harmony in Telangana and appreciated that a Sikh leader is Mayor of a corporation in the state (Ravinder Singh in Karimnagar), the release added.
