National Conclave ‘Empowering the People – India 2047’ in New Delhi today

New Delhi, August 15 (Pervez Bari): Stage is all set for the day-long National Conclave entitled ‘Empowering the People – India 2047’ to be held here on Monday (15 August 2016) at Gulmohar Hall, India Habitat Centre. The Conclave is being organised to discuss a long term plan, with a comprehensive action agenda, for total empowerment of the marginalized Muslim community.

Justice Rajindar Sachar, retired High Court judge Delhi, will release the Basic Document on empowerment project on the occasion. The forenoon session will be presided over by Maulana Mohammad Wali Rahmani, general secretary All India Muslim Personal Law Board. A seminar on the theme ‘Opportunities and challenges in community empowerment’ will be held in the afternoon.

This National Conclave is designed as a get-together of select community leaders and activists from different states. It will be an occasion to share our views and experiences in bringing inclusive growth by empowering the people. The detailed programme is as under:-
