NATO to discuss Turkey’s military campaign against Kurd militants, ISIS

London: NATO member states are holding an emergency meeting in Brussels to discuss the military campaign by Turkey against Kurdish militants and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

According to the BBC, Turkey has been a key partner of the US in launching coalition airstrikes.

However, Turkey has recently bombed ISIS and Kurdish positions following an attack at Turkey’s Sousse resort.

Turkey is also backing plans for a buffer zone on the border with Syria. (ANI)
