The 70th Independence Day celebrations were held at TRS Bhavan in a grand note today. Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy hoisted the national flag on the occasion.
 Addressing the gathering, Nayani said that the freedom to the nation was a result of lots of peoples’ sacrifices. He said that the Telangana people waged several movements to achieve separate Telangana state with the spirit of freedom fighters. He said that the TRS government launched programs like Mission Kakathiya, Mission Bhagiratha for the development of the State. (NSS)
