Mumbai: NCP today celebrated the 76th birthday of party chief and former Union Minister Sharad Pawar at its Maharashtra unit’s office here.
NCP group leader in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Jayant Patil cut the birthday cake in presence of former Maharashtra Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Vasant Davkhare and other party office bearers.
The party also plans to celebrate Pawar’s 50 years in legislative politics in a big way, a NCP statement issued here said.
