NEET results stayed by High Court

Hyderabad: Madurai Bench of Madras High Court stayed the release of NEET results scheduled to be published on 8th June. The High Court issued interim stay order on 7th May since there is an allegation that questions in different languages were not the same.

A medical student alleged that questions in all the languages were not similar in all the states. In some states, the questions were easier.

High Court issued letters to Medical Council of India, Central Board of Secondary Education and Union Ministry of Health to submit a counter affidavit on Monday.

It may be mentioned that this test is being held by CBSE for giving admissions to the students in undergraduate Medical and Dental courses throughout India.
