Network Monitoring Analyst
Wide Area Network (WAN):
The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, should be able to work in client location with multi vendor environment. This is a Network Monitoring role so the candidate must be able to interact with different Carriers , Vendors and application groups engage them according to there requirements. Below are some technical skills which are critical for this job role.
Good understanding of LAN switching technologies including Spanning Tree, VLAN, and VTP concepts.
Good Understanding on Network Monitoring tools such as SMARTS,HPNA etc.
Experience with networks monitoring in NOC environment.
Strong understanding on Alert catch and dispatch process with vendor / carrier engagement.
Strong understanding of WAN technologies.
Vendor management, attending meeting with different carriers & vendors.
Flexible to work in Night shift.
Strong business english communication is must.
LAN:
Level1 skills on LAN technologies
Basic Understanding on Cisco and juniper Products.
Understanding on Spanning tree (PVST, MST) , VTP
Basic Knowledge on Gigamon devices.
Should be flexible to work in 24/7 support.
