This New Year be a part of JBMV: Naidu

Extending New Year greetings to the Telugus in India and worldwide, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stressed on making each person a partner in the government’s ‘Janmabhoomi-MaaVooru’ programme commencing on January 2, 2016.

He said that the Janmabhoomi-MaaVooru’ meetings are being organized to understand the effective implementation of government’s developmental and welfare schemes and seek feedback from the public.

“This time, the main theme of the third phase JBMV is ‘Smart Village-Smart Ward towards Smart Andhra Pradesh”, he said. The thrust areas of the third phase JBMV will also see facilitating interaction of the partners of the smart Andhra Pradesh with Government Officials and community; sensitizing the partners and community on 20 non-negotiable indicators of the smart Andhra Pradesh programme; sensitizing the partners and community on baselines survey of the SVSW programme. He asked people to come forward to adopt their hometowns or wards and contribute towards building Sunrise Andhra Pradesh.

On January 1st 2016, he said, our state government will be first in the country to credit social pensions to 43.50 lakh people. He also assured that the 12.50 lakh applicants will be issued new ration cards. By next year, each household will have gas connections, he said.

“My deepest wish for us is that we can forge a unity of spirit and purpose that will amaze not just others, but ourselves. I wish we could come together in a way we have never done before; that we could mobilize all our energy and passion to build Andhra Pradesh,” he concluded. (INN)
