Hyderabad: GHMC officials began the next phase of Charminar Pedestrian Project late at night. The construction activities of the long pending Charminar Pedestrian project had resumed after K T Rama Rao’s visit to old city and GHMC completed the flooring on Charminar to Gulzar Houz stretch. Earlier during Congress rule flooring on Charminar to Aalijah Kotla stretch was done.
Now GHMC has begun construction activities on Charminar to Lad Bazar stretch. The target has been set to complete the work within 15 days. GHMC officials have decided to completely close the road for commuters and carry out the work day and night so that the road could be thrown open for commuters at the earliest.
