NGO finds Shahrukh’s vanity van parked ‘illegally, complaints to police

An NGO, Watchdog Foundation, on Tuesday lodged a complaint with the Mumbai Traffic Police after one of their trustees noticed the vanity van of actor Shahrukh Khan parked “illegally” on a cemented road near his residence Mannat in Mumbai’s Bandstand, Bandra (West).

Advocate Godfreyw Pimento, a trustee of the NGO, said, “Today (on Tuesday), one of our trustees, who was passing through the area, noticed the vanity van of Shahrukh Khan parked on a cemented road. When the trustee reached near the spot, security guards objected his presence near the van. We immediately lodged a complaint on the Mumbai Traffic Police helpline, saying this is an illegal parking and therefore action should be taken.”

“We received response from the Mumbai Traffic Police that they would be directing the local traffic police authorities concerned to take action in this matter,” he said.

He, however, said if illegal parking continued they would be constrained to file another criminal complaint. (ANI)
