Consequent to the orders from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, the NIA re-registered against unknown accused persons for killing Rudresh, an RSS member in uniform by hacking him from the right side of his neck with a sharp machete.

The five accused are identified as Irfan Pasha, 32 years, Waseem Ahmed, 32 years, Mohammad Sadiq 35 years, Mohammed Mujeeb Ulla, 46 years, Asim Sheriff, 40 years, have been charged under sections 302 and sections 161(a), 18, 20 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

Investigation reveals that all the five accused are members of Popular Front of India (PFI) and its affiliated political organization i.e. the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI).
