Shajapur: At least nine people were injured after an explosion took place in Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train on Tuesday.
According to ANI, the incident took place in train no-59320 in Madhya Pradesh’s Shajapur at around 10:00 AM.
“A medical team has been to the accident site and injured passengers have been admitted to Kalapipal Government Hospital,” said IA Siddiqui​, Bhopal Division PRO.
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Bhupendra Singh said, “There was a gunpowder odour. Investigation in the matter is on.”
However, he said that the cause of explosion is yet to be ascertained.
