Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will meet Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli during his visit to the Himalayan nation on Wednesday.
“I am going to attend a function of the Nepali Congress in Kathmandu,” Nitish Kumar told the media here on Tuesday, minutes before he left for Delhi.
According to state officials, Nitish Kumar was keen to visit Nepal for the last several years but could not do so. He wanted to visit Nepal’s Janakpur district, which borders Bihar.
Last year, the Janata Dal-United leader criticised the central government for not letting him visit the quake-ravaged Nepal.
