Nizam’s kin says, Sultan-Ul-Uloom illegally occupied their lands

Hyderabad: Muazzam Jah Bahadur’s family members accused the Sultan Ul Uloom Educational Society on Saturday for illegally occupying ‘Mount Pleasant’ palace at Banjara Hills.

Nawab Zamin Ali Khan, while speaking to media at Press Club Hyderabad, claimed that the palace along with the 24 acres of land belongs to one of the daughters of Prince Muazzam Jah Bahadur, Princess Ameena Marzia, Telangana Today reported.

He claimed that the property belongs to ‘Muazzam Jah Trust’, created by Nizam VII Mir Osman Ali Khan for benefit of his son Prince Muazzam Jah.

‘Mount Pleasant’ palace and the land were purchased by the trust to serve as a residence of Prince Muazzam Jah. As per the deed of the trust the property should be distributed to the family members of Prince Muazzam Jah, Nawab Zamin stated.

They approached the court and got an FIR registered against the Sultan-ul-Uloom trustees when all the negotiations failed. SUES, Sultan-ul-Uloom Education society also misrepresented the All India Council for Technical Education and obtained affiliation for itself, he further added.
