No more box office clash for Salman, SRK

SRK

Karachi: The much awaited box office clash that was scheduled to happen between Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ has been averted.

Earlier, the flicks were slated to release on the occasion of Eid, but now SRK has decided to change the release date of ‘Raees’ to avoid the clash, reports the Express tribune.

A source said, “Shah Rukh’s ‘ Raees’ is not clashing with Salman’s ‘ Sultan’ after all. In fact, after what the clash of Shah Rukh’s ‘Dilwale’ with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ did to the former, Shah Rukh was opposed to the Eid clash. It was producer Ritesh Sidhwani who insisted they won’t budge.”

SRK’s flick is most likely to be postponed by two weeks and will clash will either John Abraham’s ‘Dishoom’ or Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Mohenjo Daro.’ (ANI)
