No mention of Muslim reservations in Guv’s address: Venkateshwarulu

Mr. P Venkateshwarulu MLA YSR Congress party found fault with the government for not mentioning Muslim reservation in the governor’s address to the joint session. It must be recalled that government had promised to provide 12 percent reservation to Muslims.

Taking part in the debate on the motion of thanks to governor’s address on Saturday, Mr. P Venkateshwarulu wanted to know what measures have been taken in order to provide 12 percent reservations to Muslims. He flayed governor’s address saying that it missed key issues like fee reimbursement, while 3700 Cr is still pending. College managements are harassing students for non payment of fee and even the passed candidates are not handed over their certificates.

He demanded that the state government should immediately release arrears of fee reimbursement and clear government’s stand on 12 percent reservations to Muslims.
