No party can take on KCR: Srihari

Mahabubabad: Deputy Chief Minister for Education Kadiam Srihari today asserted that no political party or any leader was capable of taking on Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The Deputy Chief Minister told the media that the Chief Minister has transformed Telangana into a No 1 State in the country in terms of welfare. There is no room for the Congress, Telugu Desam or YSRCP in the State while the citadel of the Communists have already been dismantled in the State, Srihari said.
During the Congress and TDP rules, the farmers used to stage protests on the roads for fertilisers and seeds, he said, adding that the TRS has been successful in addressing these issues. The farmers, who used to spend their time on roads during the previous regimes are now able to spend their time in farm fields as the government was providing all help and supplying nine-hour power supply.
“Of course, we have been spending huge funds of Rs 40000 cr for welfare of poor, destitute, SC, ST, BC and Minorities. A multi number of welfare schemes launched by KCR has got him accolades from all he claimed. The flagship programs like Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha, pensions, fine rice, Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak, six kilo rice to everyone, land to Dalits and double bedroom housing for the poor are being implemented.
The State Government was also encouraging institutional deliveries and giving Rs 12,000 to women on delivery at the government hospitals he said adding that Rs 2000 worth KCR Kits for children born will be given from June 2. (NSS)
