Minority Welfare Department has no place for honest officers. The clear proof of this was witnessed when high officials and local political party recommended to temporarily appoint a controversial personality. It is said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has rejected the proposal submitted by board of Director of Minority Finance Corporation under which resolution was passed to retain retd General manager of the corporation on his post. Although Chief Minister has rejected the proposal to restore the services of a controversial personality however on the pressure of local political party and some high officials the person has been appointed as OSD in the society of Minority Residential Schools.
Interestingly an IFS officer Jalaluddin Akber was transferred from the post of Director Minority Welfare for using just 40 litre more petrol while government and other officials have soft corner for the person who retained on the post for 5 more years by tampering date of birth and illegally obtained nearly 85 lakh. Local political party which sent letter to CM against Jalaluddin Akber mounted pressure on CM to reappoint controversial officer.
