No place for sincere, law-abiding officers in MWD, Jalaluddin Akber transferred

There is no place for sincere and law-abiding officers in Minority Welfare Department. Such officers are harassed through various ways and they are either forced to quit the department or government is pressurized to transfer them. Director Minority Welfare Jalaluddin Akber has done effective implementation of Minority schemes and as Special Officer Waqf Board he took significant steps for protection of Waqf properties.

But in return to all these he has been transferred to other department. Mr. Mohammed Jalaluddin Akber (IFS) 1999 batch will be deputed as Conservator forest, Warangal district. According to reliable sources the transfer was the result of pressure mounted on Chief Minister to return Jalaluddin Akber’s services to forest department.

It must be noted that the government on one hand admits staff crunch in Minority Welfare and on the other hand it is transferring dutiful officers under the pressure of a particular group. Jalaluddin Akber’s only fault was that he opposed the decisions which were sheer violation of rules and informed Secretary Minority Welfare about this.
