No more queues in Gandhi Hospital for registration in Outpatient Dept., online system introduced

Hyderabad: There is going to be an end for the large queues of outpatients waiting for registrations in Gandhi Hospital.

The outpatient counters start functioning from 8 a.m. but the patients start forming queues right from 7 a.m. onwards. By the time a patient gets his turn for registrations, almost half a day is gone. By the time the patient comes out of the hospital after consulting doctor, the afternoon is over.

Gastroenterology, Surgical Gastroenterology, Neurology, Cardiology and other important departments of the hospital function on one day or two days in a week. The patients have to wait for their turn next week. In order to get a patient admitted in the hospital, he has to go through registered in outpatient department.

Gandhi Hospital proposes to introduce online registration system. After getting the receipt of the online registration, the patient can consult the doctors directly. The online registration system would be available in the hospital itself. This will reduce the rush in outpatient department. This will also end outpatient counters. At the entrance of the hospital itself, online registration counters would be available.
