Now, UAE plans to set up city in Mars

Dubai: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE announced the project to set up city in Mars. Announcing the project he said, “There are no limits to the imagination and aspirations of human beings”.

According to the report published in Khaleej Times, UAE on Tuesday announced plans to take humans to Mars and set up a miniature city on the red planet in the next 100 years. The project is named “Mars 2117”.

 

It is also reported that the project — Mars 2117 — is aimed at “building knowledge and scientific capabilities, converting our universities for research centres, and a passion for leadership in future generations,” Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said.
