NTPC signs MoU to install CCTV cameras in Old City


The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), a Maharatna power utility and a Government of India Public Sector Enterprise,  became the first PSU to  join hands with  Hyderababd City Police  in    the Community CCTV project.

NTPC entered into an MoU with the Office of Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad for installation of CCTV cameras in Old City areas of Hyderabad. NTPC would extend a financial assistance of Rs 1 Crore for installation of CCTV cameras at Kamatipura Police Station of Old City areas of Hyderabad as a part of CCTV surveillance system under its Corporate Social Responsibility and community Development Initiative.

The MoU was signed by V.B. Fadnavis, Regional Executive Director (South) , NTPC Limited and T. Amarender Reddy, Joint Commissioner of Police (Co-ordination), Commissionerate of Hyderabad Police in the presence of  City Police Commissioner M. Mahendar Reddy, NTPC Director (HR) U.P. Pani and other senior officials. (INN)
