“NTR Diksha” from May 15 to 31

Telangana TDP would organize “NTR Diksha” from May 15 to 31 to take message of NTR to the people, who always worked for the welfare of downtrodden and poor.

Speaking to the media at NTR trust bhavan here on Friday, TDP official spokesperson Rajaram Yadav alleged that Chief Minister KCR was damaging reputation and standard of education in the name of inspection with the help of police. He accused KCR of trying to conspire of depriving education to the downtrodden and poor people by stating that there were bogus educational institutions in the State and he too trying to withdraw fee reimbursement scheme.

Yadav said Hyderabad city was an educational hub during united Andhra Pradesh State. But now after Telangana State came into being, students are forced to go to other States for engineering and other courses. He said in the last two years of TRS regime some 231 engineering colleges were closed down and more colleges would also disappear soon. Rajaram said while Chief Minister KCR recently announced release of Rs 3060 crore towards re-imbursement of fees to the students, but not a single rupee was credited in the accounts of the students.

Another TDP leader Satish Madiga, who was also present said KCR had said he would make a Dalit as first chief minister of Telangana State. But he did not keep his word. In the erstwhile of Nizam rule, razakars used to suppress people, but now KCR was trying to ruin education system with the help of the police.

NTR diksha would end on May 31 at NTR ghat, he added. (NSS)
