Secretary Minority Welfare Syed Omer Jaleel directed officials to ensure complete disbursement of Minority Welfare budget. Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel convened a meeting with high officials of Minority Welfare Department and reviewed the issuance and expenditure of Minority budget. He asked the officers to expedite implementation of schemes and disbursement of budget.
He directed authorities of minority institutions to submit details of budget and expenditure towards various schemes in the city and districts. He also asked to identify such schemes on which budget is not spend so that some alternative scheme could be introduced in its place.
It is said that due to delay in selection of beneficiaries of ‘owner cum driver scheme’, it is not possible to release auto-rickshaws on November 11, hence it has been decided to hold a separate function for that.
