Lucknow: Three family members were shot dead in Sitapur District of Uttar Pradesh late on Tuesday night. Two identified people killed a businessman, his wife and 25-year-old son.
As per HT reports, Police said Sunil Jaiswal (60) and his wife Kamini (55) had returned home late at night and rung the doorbell. Two unidentified people on bikes shot husband and wife, and when their 25-year-old opened the door, he was too shot by them.
While Jaiswal and his wife died on the spot, Ritik died of his injuries in a hospital.
Local Residents alleged that when the crime was taking place, they stopped two police constables and asked for their help but they refused, saying the area was not under their jurisdiction.
The locals have threatened to shut the city if the murderers are not arrested within 24-hours. An official told that crime may have done by professionals as they were wearing masks. Police have still not found the reason behind the crime.
