A delegation of Telangana Online Journalists Union (TOJU), led by its president and secretary K Prathap Reddy and Sridhar Dharmasanam respectively met Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy and sought inclusion of online journalists working in various web media news portals across the State into Working Journalists Act.
They also urged the Home Minister to initiate measures to amend the existing Working Journalists Act to this effect by taking the issue to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The Minister directed the Labour Commissioner to take immediate steps in this regard. (NSS)
