This Communications Manager role will join our Enterprise Services Delivery (ESD) team and be responsible for creating and driving a set of strategic communications initiatives through execution for our Cross-Domain Capabilities and Operations (CDCO) organization. The Enterprise Services Delivery organization comprises over 10,000 employees globally, including CDCO, along with five business focused Domains, namely Business Productivity, Modern Apps, Dynamics, Secure Infrastructure and Data Insights. CDCO offers a unique set of cross-domain capabilities that harness the power of one Enterprise Services to enable Microsoft customers success. This is where the puzzle element comes in. The right candidate must build their plans coordinating pieces across multiple teams and stakeholders, using creative problem solving to figure out how to drive the most impact within CDCO and across ESD. You ll be responsible for identifying the business challenge, forming communications plans, partnering with key stakeholders from across the global communications teams and organization, and executing accordingly.
Executive communications management for our senior executive CDCO suite
Create and execute strategic employee communications plans to support major Services priorities and initiatives.
Help develop effective channels and strategies to reach different roles across Services.
Contribute to the health and culture of the Services Communications team we want your ideas, viewpoints, and creativity.
Be a collaboration rock star partner closely with ESD Communications team and have a thirst to learn about new areas of the business.
Craft and mold ideas and content into compelling communications for Services leaders.
The ideal candidate would possess:
Experience in executive and/or employee communication, marketing, public relations, or all of the above.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex issues and deliver a what s in it for me message to an employee audience.
Strong organizational skills and examples of balancing competing projects and priorities.
Proven executive maturity and the ability to carry a strategic communications discussion with senior leaders.
Passion for the art of storytelling, writing, creating.
BA/BS in Communications, Marketing (or equivalent) preferred
5 years communications, marketing, or public relations experience
Previous experience working with senior executives in fast paced, high pressure, often ambiguous environments
Exceptional storytelling chops
High interpersonal awareness
Impact and influence, excels at cross-group collaboration
