The Role
This opportunity is with a large Retail company in UAE.
As a Chief Financial Officer, you are responsible to drive the company’s financial planning, perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments and decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks. You will ensure that cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations and supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.)
You will also be overseeing the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organizational and contract/grant budgets. Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner, Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained, Support the Group General Manager with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans, maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments
Requirements
To be successful you would ideally possess 10-15+ Years’ of financial and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization of which at least six years in a senior management role within the Retail or Real Estate industry. A Degree in Chartered Accountancy or equivalent is essential with a track record as a strong business partner with the ability to drive strategy and growth. Excellent Strategic management, Creativity, Time Management, Project Management, Ability to multi- task and Strong Leadership Management skills.
