The Role
The position-holder shall:
a) Be an Commercial Exhibition Manager with twenty (20) years of expertise on large scale, multi gallery, multi disciplinary exhibition fit-out installation, preferably five (5) of which with project experience of working in the GCC;
b) Have a minimum ten (10) years experience with commercial experience on prestigious museum and exhibition projects.
c) Have extensively worked to strategically expand, preserve or improve procedures, standards or policies whilst sticking to regulatory guidelines;
d) Be accustomed to resolving contractual and commercial problems and demonstrate a pro-active approach if such matters should arise.
e) Continually review and immediately raise any issue in discovering that areas are not in-keeping with regulation practices
f) Review and developing operational process flows
g) Ensure that all stakeholders understand and adhere to contractual obligations
h) Affirm that the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties
Requirements
Min. Experience in exhibitions: 20 years
GCC Experience: 5 preferably
Commercial exp.: 10
i) Possess membership of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICs) or Assessment of Professionals Competence (APC) while working as a Quantity Surveyor or equivalent recognized project management position.
j) Possess excellent English language and communication skills;
k) Be educated to a Post Graduate and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent discipline relating to exhibition design and interior fit-out; and
l) Optionally, possess one or more memberships with recognized project management organisations
