Project Manager SB – Position Responsibilities

Works directly with business functions for Technical Publication Service Bulletin (SB) program, ensures completeness of the input data, commitments to the program plan are obtained, led, tracked to achieve the results and deliverables required for successful delivery of the CTQs.
Works in partnership with all stakeholders and effectively coordinates dependencies for various information and approvals, milestones, risks, integration goals and deliverables as expected of the master program plan of SB project.
Develops Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Management System on Inputs validation for SB program.
Effectively manages program(s) through development of robust schedules, change control, and Risk/Opportunity closure to meet annual program budget.
Able to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands.
Follows Fundamental Program Management Processes, Business Processes and Technical features of the program deliverables, Product architecture, and associated development processes to provide end to end support for SB program.
Ensure customer satisfaction to both internal and external Honeywell customers.
Manages scope and mitigates risk across projects.
Coordinate with stakeholders to meet SB customer needs.
Coordinate directly with stake holders to get the information required for SB Creation and Revisions.
Determine burn-down plan for older SBs and Apply decision tree for prioritization as needed per publication Life cycle Phases.
Review/improve Cost performance index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and provide reports and metrics as needed and support management reporting.
Directs and manages the process of scope definition and change control, including estimating and negotiations of program contract/scope variations (change of requirements).
Report schedule, priority, project budget, and project status to Honeywell counterparts and directly to engineering groups.
Manage program-funded projects, participate on Process Improvement Teams.
Ensure requirement changes are disseminated to appropriate individuals.
Adhere to the requirements of the Quality Management System.
Monitor and manage resource utilization to ensure staffing levels are appropriate to meet current and future project goals utilizing the Master Schedule.
Monitor the status of projects and identify projects at risk for overruns, late delivery and technical issues.

Proven success in delivering programs on time and on cost.
Demonstrated ability of successfully managing matrix & cross-function teams and effectively communicating in global networks & with senior management.
Superior interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills required to work directly with internal and external customers.
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize complex technical projects with limited oversight.
Experience with project management principles, including; scope negotiation, cost estimate, schedule estimate, and risk management.
Ability to lead problem solving (root-cause and corrective action) processes.
Management skills related cost/schedule management and implications due to change.
Ability to plan ahead with an awareness of external and internal forces that will affect the capability of the organization to achieve its goals.
Seamless engagement with various levels of management, partners and customers to define technical requirements, status and present technical accomplishments.

5+ years experience in Project Management, Project Engineering, or Business Management.
5+ years of experience in technical publication environment with demonstrated exposure on SB process (Inputs, Tools, Techniques and Outputs).

Preferred skills:

Six Sigma Certification or equivalent training in DFSS tools and techniques.
Extensive Program Management Experience.
Have a strong interest and passion to work with a multi-dimensional business and are innovative.
Thrive on a challenging work environment and are able to work on local or overseas assignments.
Have flair to excel in delivery commitments and flexibility to mould in multi-disciplinary culture.
