Job Description:
Responsible for Technical accuracy, completeness and timely performance of the design and supervision services provided.
Responsible for the project team management
Directly responsible for regulaing the construction process according to specifications/ manuals etc.
Deal with Sr. Engineer and other support staff to ensure that the construction process is well controlled as per specificaions / manuals etc.
Review engineering design and drawings , bill of quantities, unit cost analysis and documents for construction.
Issue the contractor with all necessary copies of the engineering drawings and technical specifications and ensure that other team members comply with during the performance of their services.
Review and standardize the quality ocontrol procesures for civil works for the project.
Monitor the progress of works, see that quality standards are maintained and ensure the progress/ mile stone are acieved by the conttractor
Responsible for construction supervision, evaluation and monitoring.
Review contractor payment applications, prepare measurements of completed works.
Prepare major reports.
Advise the Client on variations orders and arbitration matters
Assist Team Leader in preparation of various reports by the Employer.
Undertake frequent inspections and guide, coordinate and monitor the works.
