Job Description:
Design Management:
Review foundation, sub structure, super structure and roofing designs calculations submitted by the consultants and the structural designer in line with design standards and specifications.
Review and recommend for approval of all drawings/Design submitted by the EPC contractor/ Consultant for HOD approval.
Participate in design coordination meetings with cross functional teams, Stakeholder, consultant and EPC contractor to mitigate conflicts in the design stage
Provide draft tender drawings, specification and BOQ for HOD approval
Ensure GFC drawings are approved in time and issued for construction.
Procurement management: –
Assist in Finalizing tender specifications, drawings and BOQs for procurement.
Assist the procurement team with Technical and Commercial inputs in tendering, vendor evaluation and finalization for all packages related to Civil, Structural, roof system, Faade and other associated works.
Construction Management:
Responsible for Development and implementation of detailed construction schedule (design development to Handing over) as per agreed timelines.
Ensure periodic review and update the management in association with contractor and other stake holders.
Execution of all Civil and structural works & other interface works as per the quality & cost parameters specified in the contracts
Engage with multiple contractors for Civil and structure related works for smooth execution of the project.
Ensure no dust and sound pollution into the existing terminal and airport user safety.
Manage conflicts with interfacing/ related works such as Faade, architecture, Finishes, electrical and MEP and mitigate conflicts.
Handing over of project: –
Responsible for development of required documentation for a proper transformation (Handing Over, Taking Over).
Support Trial/Live operations post commissioning of the project to ensure smooth transition to operation phase.
Ensure rectification of snags identified during the trial/Live operations by the contractors.
Assist Procurement and Contracts team to close the all project related contracts.
Compliance:-
Health Safety environment and regulatory compliances – Assist and work with the management for effective deployment of safety policy and achieve the safety objectives and targets /goals.
Monitor contractors compliances to all related statutory regulations and report HOD and HR accordingly
Team Development
Support team for successful implementation of related works. Identify and coach team members on their short comings in handling related works efficiently. Develop the team work and relationships.
