Role Summary/Purpose
As a member of the Corporate ERP Solutions IT global service delivery team, candidate will play a key role in leading all operational facets of Information Technology for the Global Finance/Supply Chain capabilities provided by the Corporate Central Ledger/Sub-ledgers (CCL) deployed in 78 countries globally. This individual owns direct finance operations client relationships, attainment of application-level Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and vendor delivery center support resources.

Essential Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced individual with in-depth functional and technical expertise in ERP Financial/Supply Management systems to join our team working on a highly visible multigeneration Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12/Fusion Release 10 implementation program in support of GE’s strategic initiatives. In this role s/he will partner with the business and our technical and functional teams to identify simplification and standardization opportunities which yield: operational excellence, high client satisfaction, and peak systems performance/availability and platform scalability for the assigned shared-service operating hubs.

Qualifications/Requirements

The incumbent is accountable for service delivery excellence of all assigned projects / issues including project reviews, feasibility and cost benefit analysis, prioritization, execution and closure of work products related to CCL processes and SRs. Key responsibilities are:
Serve as operational delivery expert for all application areas of the CCL platforms wing-to-wing,
including triaging, status update, escalation etc.
Lead IT team of contractors to develop and execute on multi-generation support plan meeting
global finance/supply chain program growth/deployment initiatives
Own cross-business and cross-functional client-relationships with Local Finance/Corporate
Controllers and the Industrial Business Units
Work as a trusted business partner with finance leaders and users to evaluate and improve
business processes and arrive at short term workaround as well long term fixes for all system
issues
Drive program support activities, including the development of internal and external
communications, establishing smart metrics and benchmarks and creating optimization and
continuous improvement plans
Meet SOX, audit and period close control/integrity requirements including periodic application
security reviews with Risk organization
Partner with Global IT Operations to address hardware and infrastructure related issues/changes
spanning multi-tiered ERP, Integration and BI architectures
Lead in the evaluation and implementation of third party software solutions

Desired Characteristics:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or other technical / IT field,
Engineering, Finance, Accounting or similar discipline OR a minimum 6 years of relevant IT work
experience
Experience in Information Technology leading and managing the delivery of sustainable, highly
reliable global technology platforms
Demonstrated experience with large Enterprise Resource Planning Application (ERP)
architectures involving multi-generation implementation program and world-wide operating shared
services hubs
Demonstrated experience with financial and/or light supply chain manufacturing systems and
processes
Extensive experience in providing Global operational platform service excellence using Oracle
EBS Release 12/Fusion Release 10 Financials and/or Supply Chain applications.
