Oppn indulging in silly talk on PPP: KCR

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today lambasted the Opposition leaders for not only abstaining from his power point presentation (PPP) on the floor of the House on March 31 but also indulging in foolish talk on the irrigation projects.

Addressing a public meeting after participating in a puja at Timmapur Sri Vennkateshwara Swamy Temple in Birkur mandal of Nizamabad district, KCR excoriated the Congress and TDP leaders for skipping power point presentation and crying foul at the government. The Chief Minister condemned the comments of the Opposition members for their rhetoric on irrigation projects without any knowledge. “The Opposition leaders have no commonsense of serving the people and get envious at the TRS Government for offering best services to meet the expectations of the people”, the Chief Minister deplored. “Despite any criticism and hurdles, we are committed to irrigate one crore acres in five years and cater to the irrigation needs of the farmers”, he reiterated. He also said they are completing the projects on a war-footing by spending required funds.

The Chief Minister also took a jibe at the Congress leaders for not bothering about constructing projects during their stint and creating hurdles in the path of the government. KCR’s comments came at a time when State Congress Chief Uttamkumar Reddy and TDP’s Revanth Reddy were continuing their tirade against the government by dubbing the PPP as a sham. (NSS)
