Cinematography and Animal Husbandry minister, T Srinivas Yadav today warned that the government will not hesitate to throw behind bars the opposition parties for persistently trying to stall development works and complete Mallanna Sagar and any other irrigation projects in the state.

Addressing a press conference at Secretariat here, Srinivas Yadav lashed out at the opposition for playing high drama on Mallanna Sagar and other projects. The government is trying to offer better compensation through GO 123 as Land Acquisition 2013 Act delays the formalities to the farmers and villagers. The government is committed to complete Mallanna Sagar and other projects he said warning that it will send opposition parties behind bars for their persistent efforts to stall the works of development. Reacting to sharp criticism on police excess of lathi-charge and firing on the farmers and leaders of some political parties he said that he will talk to Harish Rao and ensure that it will not recur and added that the opposition is provoking them besides stalling the project works. Accusing the previous governments of ignoring the irrigation projects for six decades he said that land acquisition is not new and the government will offer satisfactory compensation to the victims. Noted for corruption and commissions the congress leaders who raised their bellies are making meaningless comments against the government on the projects he fumed. The opposition is indulging in dirty politics for mileage and resorting to make false allegations of commissions and corruption which not correct he maintained. He called upon the people to not get carried away to the provocation by the opposition as the government is ready to offer them the best package.

Srinivas Yadav said, Irrigation Minister Harish Rao is ready to provide better package and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will give them convincing answer, he maintained. The opposition during their stint failed to develop irrigation projects, ignored welfare while the TRS Government in its 2 year stint is able to come up with welfare schemes and programs for inclusive growth. KCR had already made a power point presentation on irrigation projects and gave clarity on the projects while the opposition is trying to malign the government image through useless protests. He claimed that the government is unfazed at the opposition comments and spending huge funds for implementing Kalyana Lakshmi, Shadi Mubarak, Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya, Haritha Haram, pension, fine rice to hostels.
