Opposition leader Ghulam Nabi accuses BJP of negligence towards flood victims

New Delhi: Congress on Monday slammed the Centre governed by BJP government accusing them of their failure to towards fulfilling their ‘Raj Dharma’ by not providing aid to the flood affected areas.

Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad alleging that the BJP Ministers tend to rush to various parts of the country in order to ‘engineer defections’ said failed to come to the aid of the flood victims.

“When it comes to breaking governments, the Ministers rush to the States to engineer defections, but when it comes to helping people affected due to floods, no one visits the affected states, especially in the northeast,” said the opposition leader.

Ghulam accusing the BJP Government alleged them of being insensitive towards the flood victims said the Modi government was in “deep slumber”, adding that the BJP Ministers are busy with ‘petty politicking’ instead of providing aid to the flood victims in the northeast.
